Lad #2

Taking inspiration from neo-noir films and comics, Lad is set in a world that is similar to ours but yet feels hauntingly different.

In Issue 1, The Family was facing an uncertain future when Dad, their patriarchal leader, was savagely beaten by The Hermit.

Now, Dad is lying comatose in a hospital bed. Control of The Family has fallen to Elder Son and the Uncles. They believe they have The Hermit, that revenge is within their grasp, but Lad isn’t so sure. Guided by a voice he’s known all his life, the voice of Dad, Lad has a plan to find the real Hermit. Now, with mules loaded and the upstarts of The Family are on the hunt, but what awaits them in the forest? Not even Lad knows.

The second issue is a black and white 24 page comic filled with jaw-dropping artwork and an intense story.
